DEER PARK TENNIS CLUB SCORE $173,000 TOWARDS LIGHTING AND SYSTEM UPGRADES.

The Andrews Labor Government is ramping up its support for community sport providing grants for new community facilities in Kororoit through the Local Sports Infrastructure Fund.

Labor Candidate for Kororoit Luba Grigorovitch today acknowledged that Deer Park Tennis Club scored $173,514 towards installation of competition lighting and a “Book A Court” booking system so the broader community can access these facilities.

The Andrews Labor Governments 2022/23 Budget provided an additional $88 million to deliver new and improved community sports infrastructure and programs to boost participation in local sports clubs and organisations.

Since 2014, this Andrews Labor Government has invested more than $1.6 billion in community sport and recreation infrastructure.

Grants like these are about levelling the playing field, creating jobs, stimulating local economies, and improving the health, wellbeing, and social outcomes for communities in Kororoit and across the State.
